Your story
What stories can you create?
From anniversaries and birthdays to proposals, family histories, memorial tributes, children's adventures and company milestones—if there's a story worth telling, we'd love to help bring it to life.
What animation styles do you offer?
Every project is custom-made. Whether you love painterly anime, storybook illustrations, cinematic realism or something completely original, we'll recommend a style that suits your story.
Do I need to have a finished story?
Not at all. Some clients arrive with a complete script, while others simply have an idea, a milestone or a collection of memories.
We'll shape the story together during our story session and recommend the approach that best suits your film.
Is a real person's likeness used?
Yes. We carefully create stylised animated characters based on the people in your photographs. The goal isn't photorealism—it's recognisability. Friends and family should instantly know who they're looking at while enjoying the chosen artistic style.
Photos & process
What photographs do you need?
We usually ask for 3–10 clear, well-lit photographs of each person, ideally with a mix of angles, expressions and full-body shots. Phone photos are absolutely fine.
We also love reference images that help tell the story—favourite outfits, meaningful places, treasured objects or family photographs.
Bespoke also includes the option of a personalised photoshoot. If you'd like, we'll work with you to capture beautiful reference photographs specifically for your film, giving us the best foundation for expressive characters and consistent animation.
How long does it take?
Every animation is handcrafted, so the timeline depends on the story, complexity and style you choose. During our story session, we'll map out the process together and agree on a delivery date that works for your occasion.
Can you work to a deadline?
Yes. Let us know your screening or celebration date when you enquire.
If we can't deliver the quality you deserve within your timeframe, we'll tell you before you book—never after.
Booking & payment
When do I pay?
We ask for a deposit to begin your project and reserve production time. Once your film is complete and approved, you'll receive the final payment link before downloading your finished film.
Can I make changes?
Absolutely. We build review rounds into every project.
Standard includes one revision round for details such as names, dates and small creative adjustments.
Bespoke includes three collaborative review rounds, with additional revisions available if you'd like to keep refining the story.
Who owns the film?
It's yours. Share it with family and friends, screen it at celebrations, post it online, or keep it as a family heirloom.
We will never showcase your film without your written permission.
Peace of mind
Couldn't I just make this myself with AI?
You absolutely could—and for some people, that's the right choice.
What we're creating is something different.
Every story begins with listening: understanding the people, relationships and moments that matter. We write, art direct, refine characters, shape the pacing, direct every scene and carefully guide each frame so the finished film feels emotionally true and visually consistent.
AI is simply one of the creative tools we use. The real craft lies in the storytelling, direction and countless creative decisions that turn a collection of images into a film people genuinely connect with.
Is my family's information kept private?
Yes. Your photographs and story are treated as private. We only use them to create your film and will never share your project publicly without your written permission.
Can you include people who have passed away?
Yes. Many families commission animations that celebrate loved ones who are no longer with them. We approach these stories with care, respect and close collaboration to ensure they feel authentic and uplifting.
